Welcome to Konsthanverkarna Örebro, The Örebro Association of Artist-Craftsmen, founded 1991.
You will find our cooperative beautifully situated at the western end of Järntorgsgatan facing the river in one of Örebro’s finest examples of 19thcentury stone architecture.
The premises consist of both Shop and Gallery.
You can feast your eyes on a large selection of high quality hand made artefacts, both domestic ware, designer clothing, unique pieces and fine Gallery objects purely for decorative purposes. Everything skilfully made by professional, experienced craftsmen. Most of the Artist-craftsmen are locally based within the county, but we even represent a range of top quality craftsmen from other parts of Sweden.
Our association has around twenty members representing a wide diversity of skills and mediums, from clay, metal & wood to textiles.
A part of our premises is our “Craft Gallery” dedicated to exhibiting a wide diversity of contemporary Swedish Art-Craft work.
